If it doesn't work then I would attempt MoCA with the same thinking - bring my own MoCA qualified splitter, have a short run directly to the Mini and test that way.Put the TiVo and Mini in the same room, connect to my router with the cables I've tested, try getting things to talk.Bring my own tested and working router and cables set up for 192.168.1.* DHCP.If this were my "client" (I'm assuming this person pays you for a professional service), this is what I would do: Even with MoCA, the main TiVo needs Ethernet, you need to enable the MoCA on the main TiVo, then you need to make sure all coax splitters allow MoCA frequencies (some filter them out) and then you need to install a PoE filter. IMO getting the MoCA working will be a different headache. Many TiVo versions have a built-in Ethernet to MoCA bridge that works with the Mini. What is the main TiVo? Edge? Bolt? Roamio (which version of Roamio?)? Premiere?
